MetalMark is an innovative startup with groundbreaking air-cleaning technology that hired me to lead content strategy and content creation for their website redesign.

I worked closely with the MetalMark team to:

  • Unearth their editorial brand, voice, and tone

  • Establish website goals and execution strategy

  • Optimize website IA and content design for their conversion goals

  • Synthesize critical data and research into approachable insights and information for the average reader

  • Craft website content that highlights their key differentiators in the market and the science behind their groundbreaking technology

Case Study: Content Strategy and Copywriting for Locus Agriculture

Locus Agriculture makes microbial-based biologicals that are formulated to increase carbon sequestration and the long-term storage of soil carbon. They also have a carbon farming program that pays farmers for on-farm carbon sequestration.

I worked with Locus Agriculture to:

  • Plan and create content for the website, blogs, e-newsletter, email campaigns, press releases, and other marketing and sales collateral

  • Write and edit website landing page copy for their website redesign (launched Fall 2023)

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with science, carbon farming, sales, and marketing teams to plan and produce valuable and scientifically-sound content

  • Ideate for and own updates to the monthly and quarterly content calendar

  • Interview and share farmer stories in their Farmer Spotlight series

Carbon offset provider, Neutral, hired me to create a lead nurturing email sequence for prospective customers.

I designed this automation sequence to:

  • Educate leads along their path to purchasing carbon offsets

  • Address any questions or objections they might have

  • Establish Neutral’s authority and credibility in the industry

  • Make Neutral the go-to provider when they’re ready to buy

Case Study: Content Strategy & Branding for Duwamish Valley Sustainability Association (DVSA)

Duwamish Valley Sustainability Association is a startup environmental nonprofit that hired me to direct their content and engagement strategy. 

I worked with DVSA to:

  • Design an internal methodology for developing new projects

  • Rebrand their organization with a new logo, color palette, and editorial voice

  • Launch their Instagram platform, create and post content, and build their following and digital community

  • Create a long-term content strategy & management plan
